This site has no analytics, and an account is optional and free. Here is everything it keeps and everything it sends elsewhere.
What stays in your browser
Your day or night choice, sound effects setting, accessibility settings, music queue, favourites and playlists are saved in your browser’s local storage under keys that start with raverrealm. While you are signed out they never leave your device, and clearing your site data removes them.
If you make an account
Signing in with email keeps your email address. Signing in with a wallet keeps the wallet’s public address. Either way the account also holds the username and display name you choose, when it was made, and when you last signed in.
Your favourites and playlists are kept with your account so they follow you between devices. Nobody else can see them.
The leaderboard shows your username beside your wallet instead of the bare address, if you have set one. You can turn that off on your account page.
Raver Gold keeps a record of what your account earns and spends: the Ravers you claim from the vault, the frames and skill levels you buy, the games you play, and which of the nine songs you listened to and when, since a full listen pays. None of it is public.
Accounts run on Supabase, which stores that information for Raver Realm. Sign-in emails come from no-reply@raverrealm.xyz.
A wallet connection does exactly two things: it signs you in, and it proves which Ravers that wallet holds. Proving either means signing a short message. It is never a transaction, never an approval, and the site never sees your recovery phrase or reaches your funds.
While you are signed in, your session is kept in local storage (raverrealm.auth.v1) and sent to the sign-in service to keep you signed in. Signing out removes it.
Raver Gold keeps a ledger of every coin an account earns, sends and receives. To slow people who run several accounts to farm gold, the site keeps a keyed hash of the IP address each sign-in and each send comes from, and of a random device id this browser keeps in local storage (raverrealm.device.v1). The hashes are compared only to refuse gold moving between accounts that look linked, never shown to anyone, and deleted after 90 days. The IP address itself is not stored.
To delete your account, message @raverrealm on X from the account you want removed, or name the email or wallet address it uses. An account that has held Raver Gold keeps its ledger entries as the record of what was paid; everything else about it is removed.
What reaches other services
Videos on the UVR page load from YouTube only after you press play. From that moment YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to the video.
Pressing play on a release streams Apple’s 30 second preview of it from Apple’s servers, which see that request under Apple’s privacy policy. Nothing of Apple’s loads until you press play, and no Apple player or script runs on this site.
Links to OpenSea, Etherscan and X open those sites, which have their own policies.
Server logs
The web host records standard request logs, such as IP address and page requested, to keep the site running.
