Raver Gold

The Realm’s own coin. Earned by holding, playing, listening and showing up; spent on the Ravers that were never minted, on frames for your cards, and on their skills. Never bought, never sold, never a token.

Where gold comes from

Six ways in. The server pays every one of them, and each pays once for the thing it pays for.

  • Holding, and having held150 to 1,000 a RaverLaunch gold for every Raver in a linked wallet, less for ones passed on, more for minting in the first week of 2023. Once, on your account page.
  • Beating a person at Card Battles25 a winAt a live table, decided on the server. The first three wins over the same person in a day pay, up to 150 a day. Losing costs nothing.
  • Who's That Raver1 a right answerUp to 25 a day, and nothing for an answer faster than a person can read the mosaic.
  • Listening1 a songPlay one of the nine to the end here on the site and the server pays a coin, once a song a day. Previews from the catalogue pay nothing.
  • Showing up3 a dayOne press on this page, once a day.
  • Leaderboard places250 / 150 / 100 a monthThe top three of Most held and Rarest on the first of every month, to the account holding that wallet on the day.

The games it pays

The vault

1,121 of the 1,800 Ravers were never minted. They are in the vault, and gold claims them: a card of your own, on your account and in your battle hand, drawn at random from what is left. The vault lets out 80 a day, one about every 18 minutes, so it cannot be emptied in a rush and someone who never minted can earn their way to one. A claim is a collectible on this site, not a mint and not a token; the 3D versions come later, when the nine figures exist.

…still in the vault
…out and claimable now
…until the next one comes out

Reading the vault…

Which Raver you get is drawn by the server. Rarity is luck, not a price.

Frames and skills

Five frames for any card you hold, worn wherever that card appears: your account, the bot table, a live table where the other side sees it. And each of a card’s four skills can be raised three levels, 5% a level, for 40, 80 and 160 gold. Inside a match, 10 gold rerolls one skill and 32 rerolls all four.

Frames and raised skills go on cards you hold: the Ravers in a wallet you have linked, and the ones you claim from the vault.

The rules it obeys

  • Never moneyRaver Gold is points. It is not a token, it cannot be bought or sold, and it never touches a wallet's funds.
  • The server holds the ledgerEvery coin lives in an append-only ledger; a balance is that ledger's sum. No page and no player can write it, and every price is the database's.
  • Sending is allowed, farming is notMembers can send gold to each other, within limits: new accounts wait, sends are paced, and gold never moves between accounts sharing a verified email, a wallet, a network or a device.
  • Fail closedAnything unclear about a payout or a purchase stops it and is looked at, rather than guessed. A match settles once; a Raver is claimed once.
